Testing & Verification Procedure
At Aurum Antique International, we follow strict, transparent, and industry-recognized testing methods to ensure the authenticity, quality, and value of antiques, rare metals, and artifacts. Every test is carried out by certified experts under secure and controlled conditions.
1. Material Preparation
All materials are carefully cleaned using recommended solutions or techniques (water/detergent, mineral water, or dry cleaning with cotton depending on the type of item).
Items are handled only by our authorized experts to prevent contamination or alteration.
2. Standard Testing Stages
A. Metal Authentication
Contact Reaction Test – Observing color change, surface dusting, or powder formation within set time limits.
Material-to-Material Transfer Test – Verifying unique metallic properties under controlled friction.
Water Submersion Test – Assessing reaction and weight stability in water.
Thermal Conductivity Test – High-intensity torch evaluation for heat resistance and energy discharge.
B. Specialty Item Testing
Anti-Mirror & Anti-Shadow Tests – Evaluating unique optical properties.
Chlorophyll & Organic Reaction Test – Identifying interaction with natural compounds.
Rainbow Spectrum Analysis – Confirming minimum color spectrum reflection for certain items.
Vision & Disappearance Test – Validating unique transparency or structural changes.
C. Durability & Restoration Tests
Wire cutting endurance.
Surface healing & regrowth (for select organic materials).
Structural and architectural integrity review.
Declaration Requirements
To initiate any testing process, the owner or authorized mediator must provide:
Full legal name, complete residential address, and contact details.
Ten (10) recent passport-size photographs.
Government-issued Photo ID (Voter’s ID, PAN Card, Driver’s License, or Passport).
Residential address proof (Utility Bill, Ration Card, Driver’s License, etc.).
Accurate and complete material description.
Exact testing location with full address, GPS coordinates, and police station jurisdiction details.
Exact distance from the nearest Metro/Tier-1 city.
Terms & Conditions
Security Deposit – A non-refundable security deposit must be paid before scheduling the test.
Testing Appointment – Dates are set mutually but not earlier than 48 hours after payment.
Authorized Personnel Only – Only two representatives from the owner’s side are permitted during testing.
Testing Location Standards – Must be an enclosed, secure, and accessible location within 2 km of the stated bond address. Locations in open fields, forests, or unsafe environments will be rejected.
Bond Validity – A Finance Bond is valid for 12 hours from issuance and applies to one item only.
Test Interruption Policy – Any interference during testing will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of the deposit.
Testing Hours – Between 8:00 AM and 12:00 Noon only.
Payment Terms Upon Positive Result –
Initial token payment within 4 hours (metro cities) or 8–12 hours (other areas).
50% of the remaining amount within 3 working days.
Final balance within 7 working days (bank-to-bank transfer).
Custody of Material – Item remains in joint custody until full payment is completed.
Documentation Timeline – 15–25 business days for government and banking clearances.
Legal Jurisdiction – All disputes fall under Mumbai, India jurisdiction only.
Bond Renewal Policy
Within 1 Hour of Expiry – 60% of original security amount.
Within 6 Hours of Expiry – 80% of original security amount.
After 7 Hours – Full security amount is required.
Postponements before bond issuance will retain validity for 30 days (same or different material).
